Boppo Tablet

We’ve been using the Boppo for a bit now, and my kid actually ended up loving it — even though it took her some time to try it and get into it. Once she figured it out, she kept going back to it on her own.

What really impressed me was the customer service. Our first unit had a small defect, and they immediately sent a new one plus a Toppo as a bonus. That kind of support is rare.

The Toppo has been a hit too. Fingers crossed they add more modules for math and language because I’d definitely buy them.

Great product! We’ve had it since our babes 1st birthday and it’s been such a great tool. It’s very durable-it’s been thrown, dropped, stepped on and smacked-yey for toddlerhood. We had an issue with one of the sounds and it was replaced immediately. The staff are responsive and truly care about product experience. The parental units may be addicted to bop-a-mole.

We used Boppo once and then it just stopped working. One side is lit up all red and then the other has one orange light. I have tried to hold the power button for 30 seconds and nothing. I’ve tried to hold the power with the home button, the home button, pressing buttons. Absolutely nothing. I would love to call someone and get this fixed right now, but there is no number to contact. So I have to wait for an email. We travel tomorrow and I bought this so that it can occupy my toddler on the plane.

I Kickstarted this, and didn't get it out of the box for a while. I was worried about the set-up and time to learn to use it on my own before giving it to my kids. Totally unnecessary concern. It was ready from the box. My 4 year old has the music and games down and my 1 year old loves the colors and sounds. AMAZING PRODUCT. So worth it!

I really love this tablet. My daughter is 1 and she loves the sound activities “speak simple words” and all the color activities. It keeps her entertained for 2-3 minutes, and its comforting to know that she’s learning something new in those few minutes of play.

My son loves his Boppo! It’s great to take on the go so my son has something to play with no matter where we are!

I work as an an occupational therapist at school for children and physical disabilities and have been using Boppo during treatment sessions. The students are really liking the activities..

I backed Boppo early in the Kickstarter process because I knew this would be a wonderful toy for our son to grow up with! Dad and I are gamers ourselves, and it felt like the Boppo would be child’s (screenless!) version of the Nintendo Switch.

After much anticipation, Boppo arrived on our son’s 2nd birthday (11/29)! Perfect timing! He’s a kid who loves color and buttons and presses of all kind, so he was naturally attracted to it. At his age - and in this early stage of getting to know Boppo - we play a lot within the Sound and Color menus. Funny Noises gives us a lot of joy, and the drum and piano features are really nice change-ups to the more traditional toy instruments we have lying around the house. Chroma Touch is very soothing (for us adults, especially!) and the All Green Puzzle and Memory games are super fun to work through with him.

Along with my pledge, I purchased all 3 Toppos. For a 2-year-old, the Farm one seems the most age-appropriate, followed by the Symphony one, then the Planetary one (but he’ll grow into those!).

So so happy Boppo is finally here! We parents even love exploring it; the handfeel is awesome, and the buttons are so satisfying to push. Over the next few weeks we’ll attempt uploading our own music, I’m sure. I do wish there was a way to disable the Menu and Power buttons for when our toddler is going crazy on the mashing; too frequently he’ll be in the middle of the activity and accidentally toggle back into the main menu. Perhaps that can be a later app feature for parents? Also have heard whispers about a protective case next year…. Yes, please!! I imagine we will be playing with Boppo for many years to come!

My 7 and 10 year old boys love Boppo!! Whether playing solo or together, it provides endless fun. I am so happy to have an alternative to a screen. Love that it will also play podcasts, what a bonus. The games are clever and entertaining.

We love the Boppo and so does our 2.5 year old. Love having screen free time. I also.lice the variety of things to do on it making it great for all ages including my husband! I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the keys being so loud without a toppo on making the toppo-less activities sometimes hard to hear over the clicking. Looking forward to hopefully a protective case/skin and a case to hold both the Boppo and toppos.

I love it so far, but I really really wish the language options were more, I'd love if all the games and not just colours could have other languages, or a way to download different languages (e.g. cantonese) So far I think it's interesting

The grandsons love their new Boppo! Will make their upcoming 7 hour plane ride a bit more enjoyable.

Bought this for my 2 year old niece and she is fully engaged with it! Education can't start early enough!

Our Boppo had a mechanical issue where the external speaker stopped working. The Boppo team generously sent us a replacement free of charge. Our little guy enjoys all of the games and learning tools!

My granddaughter absolutely loves it

We bought this for our son at Christmas when he was 4 1/2. I was worried that he would have trouble navigating it but he figured it out on his own pretty quick and it really keeps him occupied. It has lots of games at different levels, music, audiobooks, and educational content. We just went on a long vacation that involved lots of time in the car and he didn't use a screen tablet or smartphone once. This Boppo kept him entertained and I really feel like he will continue to grow with it. I definitely recommend this for any family that is trying to give their kids technology without much screen time!

I have 4 kids ranging from 9 months to 16 years plus a husband. We have ALL played on this. My teens’ friends came over and a bunch of teens played on it for awhile. They love doing the 2 player tennis game. The Boppo is brilliantly designed and beautifully executed. My best friend is buying one for her granddaughter for Christmas. We’ve got several family functions coming up that we originally got this for to entertain a 9 month old and an almost 2 yr old, and I KNOW some nieces, nephews and cousins are going to most likely be ordering too.

We discovered the Boppo by a girl reviewing it on TikTok. I had never heard of it before, but if anyone ever cannot wrap their head around how it works, I’d definitely recommend checking out TikTok and search for videos. I’m not sure I would have bought it without watching someone actually using it and I am so glad we did.

We love the Boppo! my daughter is 19 months old and LOVES the music player, i uploaded a few songs from her favorite movies and she plays them all day long. It’s a lifesaver for long car rides and holds a battery life for a long time. So worth the money!

All five of my kids (ranging from 2 to 10) love playing with the Boppo. It is the perfect car activity. I love that they can play alone or together. Their favorites are button wrestle and funny sounds!

It's too complicated for my son to operate on his own, it's like, what's the point if he can't navigate through the different games. I wasn't even sure at first what they were, I had to look through my phone, unless he is going to just play the same thing over and over again, it really doesn't make much sense. It was marketed as being a substitute for a tablet but I really dont see how other young children can be on it for long without help from an adult. It was a big let down for me, a costly one at that. Would not recommend as it is collecting dust in his toy box as we speak.

Our daughter absolutely loves her Boppo and her favorite activity is learning colors in 8 languages! She also has all her favorite Disney songs downloaded to the music player and loves playing DJ with the sound effects. Mom appreciates the headphones jack that lets little ears sound explore while mom relaxes.

We are thrilled that her Boppo and a small handful of toys kept her attention on a 5 hour plane flight without turning on her back of the seat screen.

Customer support was above and beyond five stars when we had a sim card read error. They were prompt, responsive, kind, and fixed the problem right away.

As a family we all enjoy dueling the arcade games together. We have not introduced the toppos but we have them and are waiting till our daughter gets bored which hasn’t happened yet! We can’t wait to see what expansions are released in the future!

We gave this to our child for his 5th birthday and he has enjoyed it so much! There are so many activities to discover and play that he is still finding new ones to explore 3 weeks later. It truly spans so many ages as our 8 year old and 3 year old love it as well - for different reasons. We are excited to continue to get to know Boppo!

I got this as a birthday gift for my son, and he loves it. Weeks later, it doesn’t get old. His sister and him like playing the multiplayer games together.

What I like: it’s a multi-age gadget. There is something for each of my kids age 1.5-11 to do. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use. The toppers add new elements that keep my older kids engaged.

What I dislike: the voice and the way it talks over itself. It is beyond grating on things like the color explorer or counting modules. Kids are not patient and of course they repeatedly push buttons without waiting for the voice to finish what it’s saying. Due to this I have relegated the Boppo to the car. It will be used exclusively as a tool for long drives and waiting rooms (with headphones of course).

Also, I find many of the activities repetitive. They are basically the same with a slightly different edge - like all the different variations of memory game with color, piano, drum sound.

Will look forward to more toppers being added to expand its appeal.

My kids are loving it (5 and 7 y/o). We have the 3 covers (space, music, farm) and they love all of them and the original without any. It is very intuitive to them, and with plenty of breath for both to engage and have something they like. They play alone and together (with the ping pong for example) This was a great finding

I’ve noticed my 3 year old takes to the tablet very well lots of amazing cool features. Sometimes I notice my toddler gets overstimulated when using it for more the 20 min.

This product is top notch! I have had so much fun with it myself. I work in special education and my student's have also loved it. My own son said it was better than his gaming computer. This is a must have for the car and the therapy bag.
