What's New on Boppo: June Update
We've been busy. This month's update brings new ways to play, a big upgrade to how you can personalize Boppo, and some long-requested improvements. Read on to see what's new!
New Game! Photo Recall
Think you have a photographic memory? Now you can put it to the test. Photo Recall is a brand-new activity: see a pattern of button colors, then remember them after they disappear. Each level gets a little harder. Fun for kids and adults alike.
New Function! My Sounds
My Sounds allows you to upload your own audio clips and build custom soundboards on Boppo. Use it for silly sound effects, family inside jokes, favorite songs and stories (as told by you, perhaps), or whatever else your heart desires.
Upload Your Own Audiobooks
This one's been highly requested. You can now upload MP3 audiobooks directly to Boppo using the phone app, and they'll play when selected on your tablet. Whether it's a story you've bought, a library download, or something you've recorded yourself, if it's an MP3, you can put it on Boppo (in its appropriate category).

Big Upgrades to the Phone App
The Boppo Parent app has a new look:
- Activities now have fun illustrated cover art!
- A new tab lets you browse through activities on your Toppos and even select an activity via the app
- You can now adjust the Volume Limit inside the app, not just on Boppo
- New dedicated sections for managing and uploading audiobooks and My Sounds
- Added a button to turn off the tablet from within the app
- Empty Wi-Fi passwords now work when setting up Boppo (useful for open networks)
For the Builders (SDK + MIDI)
If you or someone in your family likes to tinker: Boppo's SDKs are now publicly available. Head to developer.boppo.com to get started and create your own activities for Boppo.
Also new: Piano, Drum Kit, and Beat Builder now output MIDI notes over USB, and a MIDI command is available across all three SDKs. As always, the update is automatic while charging, just make sure your Boppo is connected to Wi-Fi.
